"MAKING MEMORIES LIVE" ALBUMS

In Loving Memory of My Daughter Danice

The week before my daughter Danice was killed, we traveled to West Virginia to see my mom who was then in an Alzheimer's nursing home. While visiting her we celebrated two grandson's first birthdays by taking snapshots with our 35-millimeter camera, capturing a picture of little fingers covered with icing gleefully demolishing their first birthday cake as great grandmother looked on.

The following weekend two minutes from home, my daughter was killed instantly when hit by an eighteen wheeler truck. Left behind was her one-year-old baby boy and 5 year old son ready for kindergarten.

After her funeral, my son-in-law mentioned he had a video of her lobbying on television for street improvements in their neighborhood. This video became the most precious of all the memorabilia we have of her. Her children, who are older now, can watch the video and know her as they listen to her voice, see her beautiful long strawberry blonde hair, the twinkle in her green eyes and her infectious smile.

Do I wish I had more of these beloved videos, you bet I do. I always intended to video or record the things I wanted to remember… someday.

Perhaps you have someone or some event you wish to keep as a precious memory, so we invite you to pick up "Making Memories Live" albums today. For the busy family not only to remind you to do it, but so that you will always have it on hand so you will do it. You provide the memories, and we provide the means to preserve them with our "Making Memories Live" albums. You can select a video, CD or cassette tape album; it is your choice. All you need for recording memories is inside of the "Making Memories Live" album waiting for you to use it.
